Argyll and Bute Council Chamber Steps Into the Future with Nuway AV Upgrade

25 June 2026

Nuway Audio Visual has helped Argyll and Bute Council modernise its chamber with a future-ready AV upgrade designed to support clearer debate, smarter control and more flexible public meetings.

As councils continue to adapt to new expectations around hybrid participation, transparency and digital governance, the upgraded chamber provides councillors and staff with a more intuitive environment for managing meetings and sharing content.

The installation includes a streamlined Crestron control platform, upgraded 4K media infrastructure, and a Televic wireless conference system with 51 touchscreen delegate units. Together, these technologies provide clearer audio, easier meeting management and a cleaner, cable-free chamber layout.

The project is also supported by a five-year maintenance agreement, ensuring long-term reliability as the Council continues to evolve its meeting and governance processes.

The result is a more professional, flexible and accessible chamber environment, built not just for today’s meetings, but for the future of local democracy.
