News Flash: Nuway Underway at Smith & Nephew Melton Site

Nuway Audio Visual is pleased to be underway with a new AV installation for Smith & Nephew at its Melton site, continuing our longstanding relationship with the global medical technology company.

Having previously delivered and continued to support Smith & Nephew’s facilities in Hull, Nuway has developed a strong understanding of the organisation’s requirements for reliable, intuitive and future-ready AV systems in professional healthcare and corporate environments.

The Melton project will see Nuway deliver AV across a range of key spaces, including meeting rooms, training areas, office spaces, digital signage points and larger communication environments designed to support presentations, collaboration and internal engagement.

The works will include modern conferencing technology, large-format displays, wireless presentation, room booking and audio solutions, helping create a connected workplace that supports both day-to-day operations and wider team communication.

This latest project further strengthens Nuway’s ongoing partnership with Smith & Nephew and reflects our continued experience in delivering high-quality AV solutions for healthcare, medical education and corporate environments.

News Flash: Nuway Integrates Qualigraf with Televic at Thanet District Council

News Flash: Nuway Integrates Qualigraf with Televic at Thanet District Council

Nuway Audio Visual has delivered a modern council chamber upgrade for Thanet District Council, including integration of the Televic Confidea conferencing platform with Qualigraf, a meeting management system that supports modern governance workflows.

The upgraded chamber has been designed to support in-person debate, hybrid participation via Microsoft Teams, live streaming, electronic voting and accessible public engagement. At the heart of the system is a Televic Confidea Flex wired conferencing platform, providing touchscreen delegate units, microphone control, RFID identification, voting functionality and meeting follow-along.

By integrating Qualigraf into the chamber workflow, the system helps connect the formal meeting process with the room’s AV technology, supporting smoother session management, more structured debate and improved transparency for public meetings.

The wider installation also includes PTZ cameras, streaming and recording, professional displays, Microsoft Teams Room integration, wireless presentation and centralised Crestron control, creating a future-ready democratic space that is easier for officers to manage and more accessible to councillors, remote participants and the public.

This project demonstrates how modern AV and digital governance platforms can work together to improve how council meetings are run, recorded and shared.
